What is Keratosis Pilaris?
Keratosis Pilaris is a skin complication characterized by the appearance of small white color bumps. These bumps resemble chicken skin or a goose bump or like goose flesh. Causes of Keratosis Pilaris
Keratosis Pilaris is harmless, and is not infectious and occasionally itchy. Keratosis Pilaris is not contagious. It is not an infection which is caused by any fungus, bacterium, or virus. It does not spread through any skin contact. This is an inherited skin complication. Keratosis is due to extra accumulation of keratin in the hair follicles.
